Pitch Boards and Treatment:

There once was a girl named Beth who only had eyes for the most popular boy in school, flag football quarterback Will.  She was rejected by him on Valentine’s Day and failed to notice Oliver who wanted to be her friend.
That night to take Beth’s mind off things, her Grandma Rose told her the amazing story of her prized music boxed and how the tiny fairy got trapped inside.
Grandma Rose's story begins… Once upon a time there was a Fairy Princess named Melina that married a handsome Fairy Raven Prince named Emeric.  Her younger sister Rosalyn was not thrilled because she too was madly in love with Emeric.
That night Rosalyn spied on the lovers.  She watched as Emeric presented Melina with a gift; a music box.  She was shocked to see his face change in anger; he blasted Melina in the chest and cursed her to spin round and round as tiny figurine; for him to keep forever. Rosalyn gasped and made a run for the box.  A chase ensued.
Rosalyn alerted her father King Mortimer.  Emeric emerged from the shadows a battle began. Emeric wounded revealed the key to his curse.  King Mortimer entrusted Rosalyn with an amulet that allowed her to have powers in the human world and urged her to go there in order to save herself and her sister.

Emeric proved to be much stronger than King Mortimer and continued to chase Rosalyn to the edge of the forest as a raven.  Rosalyn tripped and with no time left, decided to save her sister and regretfully left the amulet behind.  Grandma Rose’s story ends…

Beth was not amused by it and dismissed the story as rubbish.
Hurt, Grandma Rose headed to bed and left the music box behind.  Beth continued to feel rejected by Will, but later discovered that Oliver planted a Valentine in her backpack.  She thought for a moment and then began to feel ashamed of herself and regretted the way she treated her Grandma and Oliver.  She then glanced at the fairy on the dresser.
Beth’s curiosity got the best of her, she touched the fairy and to her amazement, Melina came to life.  Beth quickly learned that the story was true and within minutes Emeric returned to regain his captor.  The girls screamed in terror and woke up Grandma Rose.
Emeric flaunted the amulet and tied Beth and Grandma Rose together while he continued to convince Melina to come back to him.  Melina did not give up without a fight.  Beth eventually freed herself and devised a successful plan with Melina to take the amulet from Emeric.

Melina and an aged Rosalyn (Grandma Rose) are reunited.   Beth is then congratulated for her courage by Melina.  Melina then returned to the fairy world and Grandma Rose and Beth talked about love, family and relationships on the porch swing in during the sunrise.

The next day at school, Beth passed up Will on the playground and gave Oliver a homemade Valentine.  Oliver was speechless.
