Producer/Director : Melissa Garza

MelissaHer most recent credit was working for Digital Domain as a Digital Coordinator for Tron Legacy. Previously she worked with Super 78 Films as a Production Coordinator for a DreamWorks theme park attraction called "Donkey Live!" for Universal Studios, Singapore. She also worked at Giant Studios, where she learned a lot about motion capture and had an opportunity to work on Avatar, Night at the Museum 2, Tintin (preproduction) and much more. She also Assistant Directed "Country Stepping" a dance reality show TV pilot for CMT. Her Directing credits include web commercials for Go Daddy, Chipotle and The Public Health Department. She is currently working as the Executive Producer and is focusing her efforts on finding more financing for this project. As an entrepreneur, she created glow wings to support this film as well. Her mission is to entertain and inspire young girls and women to make better choices in relationships, be confident, and explore artistic/technical career fields. 

Associate Producer : Michael Sagat

DanNative of Califonia whose previous work was in retail and sales in various industries. Instrumental in providing start up capital for recycling company, and was a recycling consultant to VLH. Respecting entertainment, Michael started as a Talent Manager's assistant, then worked as a production and Producer's assistant on various projects, and secured props and locations. He invested moderate finance into various indie productions, and other non entertainment related ventures. Currently, he's working with Indie production Company JAGO Productions on several projects, and is Partners with the Film Trailer Festival, aiding in the production of the International Trailer Showcase at Raleigh Studios earlier this year. He has two projects in development, one in which he's collaborating with a Reputable Sales agent in bringing additional elements. Michael has and continues to foster relationships with industry newcomers and veterans in production, finance, and sales on the indie and Studio Level and intends on building on more experience in production and entertainment business.

Writer : Georgia K Vinson

GeorgiaBorn and raised on a farm in the small town of Ranburne, Alabama, Georgia K Vinson has always been a big dreamer. Following high school, her passions took her to the University of Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude with a double B.A. in theatre and English. Then, in 2006, Georgia made the trek across country to obtain her M.F.A. in screenwriting from Chapman University. After graduation, she worked on various productions around Los Angeles and plugged away in the VIP Tour Department at Warner Bros. Studios before returning to Alabama to be closer to her family. Currently, Georgia works in Inside Sales at M&H Valve Company and volunteers as a local youth director while she continues to use almost every spare moment to pursue a career in writing.

ChrisChris Wiltz received his MFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University and is a fellow of USC’s Guy Hawks and Marvin Miller Screenwriting Program (the Cosby Fellowship) – founded by Bill Cosby. His films have been official selections of a number of film festivals, including The Hollywood Film Festival, The Burbank Independent Film Festival, and the Independents Film Festival. He has received a number of honors for his writing including a prestigious Student Emmy for his short Latter Day Fake. He credits his wild imagination to a lifelong love affair with movies, comic books, music of all sorts and growing up in the city of Detroit. Chris is also Creator and Executive Producer of a web series called Semi Dead.

Director of Photgraphy : Dwight A. Galbraith

DanAs a film maker Dwight has worked in many different roles. He mostly work as a Cinematographer and as a Gaffer, or Chief lighting technician. He has spent over 10 years working in the world of lighting. He started out working in theatre as a lighting technician. He would climb to the top of the ladders and hang and aim lights. He worked his way up to becoming a lighting designer and technical director for the shows going on stage. He is a MFA Graduate from Chapman University with an emphasis in Cinematography.

Composer : Oscar Garza

OscarThroughout his years as a saxophonist and composer at the University of North Texas, Oscar Garza had the opportunity to share the stage and learn from many legends in the jazz community. Composition lectures by Bob Brookmeyer and performing on stage with acclaimed saxophonists such as Chris Potter and the late Michael Brecker are just some of the experiences that have had a profound effect on Oscar's compositional style. After completing his Bachelor of Music and serving as Adjunct Professor of Saxophone for the University of North Texas, he became employeed with M-Audio as a sales representative. Currently he works for AVID as the Manager for Retail Technical Presales for the Americas and enjoys writing music in his off time. His projects have included scoring several short films, writing music for advertisements, and finishing work on his latest CD. Versatile enough to write a subtle orchestral cue or an immersive electronic landscape, Oscar's wide range of musical vocabulary sets him apart from most other composers and performers.

Costume Designer : Edith Raya

EdithEdith grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She earned a degree in Fashion Design from Los Angeles Triad Technical College. The world of costume history is her entire existence. Her recent credits include costume design for the feature film "Creative Differences" (Joshua Alba, Dennis Haskins, Justin Shilton), as well as sole costume designer for the feature film "Color of the Cross 2: Resurrection", where she alone designed and created all costumes for a cast of about 30 in this biblical period piece. She was also involved in several short films. Her wish is to combine to the greatest extent her passion for costume design with the world of cinema. This is her first time stepping up as Producer and she is super excited to be a part of the team.

3D Character Modeler : Steven Guevara

StevenSteve has worked on major cutting edge films such as Avatar, The Chronicles of Narnia and The Polar Express. Currently, he works at Blur Studios as a cloth setup and simulation artist. His past experience includes working with Giant Studios where he acted as a character TD and motion capture editor/animator for Avatar. Steve is very familiar with modeling, character design, motion capture and is well versed in many 3D programs; he trained at Gnomon School of Visual Effects and The Art Institute of Los Angeles California. He owns a company called Wicked Resin where he offers 3D printing and sculpting services and aims to produce the best quality work while maintaining the highest efficiency through creative problem solving. He believes creating new solutions for new Ideas is what it’s all about. He is happy to be a part of the Captured Melody team.

Pitch Board Artist : David Shair

DavidOriginally from Rye, NY, David grew up watching Warner Brothers cartoons and Disney movies, taken in by the acting, humor, and all-out fun that existed in the world of animation. Performing on-stage in plays, musicals, and musical revues throughout middle school and high school, David went on to the University of Miami where he decided to explore another interest of his, animal biology, while continuing to study in both film and theater classes. While working in such positions as teaching fellow at the Bronx Zoo and intern on “Late Night with Conan O’ Brien”, David fell into the exciting scene of improv in New York City; the on-stage and written exploration of humor and entertainment led him to rediscover his one-time ambition of becoming an animation artist. A graduate of the Academy of Art University, David is excited to join the “Captured Melody” team. He has interned at Nickelodeon Animation Studios and is currently a Storyboard Artist and Writer at Walt Disney Television Animation.
