Hello and welcome to the home of Captured Melody. Captured Melody is a Chapman University MFA thesis from director Melissa Garza, who seeks to earn her MFA in film production. Since the film's inception in early 2008, the project is working to secure funding and resources to bring this film to life.
The story is about a young 8 year old girl who learns the truth about love and the secret to her own identity through a story her grandmother tells her. What makes this project unique is the it is a fantasy film that ultilizes 3D and motion capture technology.
Please feel free to look around the site to learn more about the story and how you can help someone receive their MFA in film production. Currently Melissa has finished all her classes in order to graduate but still must complete the thesis in order to receive her degree. In an effort to support the funding for this film, she created glow wings to raise awarness and funding for this project.
